Duties

The WCSA President shall:
Call and preside during all meetings
Nominate ad-hoc task force directors
Have general supervision of the affairs of WCSA
Represent WCSA in external relations

The Vice President shall:
Assume the duties of the President in the event of her absence
Assist the President as necessary
Serve as liaison to the Congressional Advisory Board
Determine responsibility for compliance with applicable ethics rules

Update and maintain the website;
Manage WCSA’s online presence (including but not limited to WCSA’s Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn pages);
Ensure WCSA’s branding and logo are cohesive, utilized, and remain up to date;
Handle incoming press requests and work with President and Vice President on external communications and media opportunities;
Manage WCSA’s graphic design needs; and
Take photos at WCSA events when possible.

The WCSA Secretary shall:
Monitor the WCSA main email account and disperse incoming correspondence to the relevant officer or committee chair; Maintain copies of all WCSA correspondence;
Award Membership to approved applicants; and
Create and send the weekly newsletter; Record meeting minutes and maintain a repository to be given upon request.

The WCSA Treasurer shall:
Collect Membership dues
Have charge of all funds of WCSA
Deposit all monies in bank/trust as selected by Executive Board within 7 business days of receipt of funds
Pay authorized bills
Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
Request and receive receipts for expenditures of WCSA
Receive and give receipts for monies due and payable to WCSA from any sources
Create a yearly budget and maintain financial tracking tools

The WCSA Membership Services Director shall:
Update and maintain WCSA Membership roll;
Manage the general WCSA email address;
Help manage the WCSA job board;
Handle Membership-related questions, comments, and concerns
