WHO WE ARE

Women’s Congressional Staff Association

Who We Are

Established in 2008, the Women's Congressional Staff Association (WCSA) is the first official congressional staff organization focused on promoting women staffers. WCSA provides networking and professional development opportunities, as well as members-only access to postings on job opportunities and events. These resources provide information and guidance for women who want to excel at their jobs and advance in their careers.

What We Do

What WCSA’s Mission?

The Women’s Congressional Staff Association (WCSA) is an official U.S. House of Representatives-recognized, bipartisan staff organization run by and for women Congressional staffers. WCSA serves to foster professional and personal development and strengthen support systems for women staffers regardless of party affiliation, background, job title, or experience. This is accomplished through thoughtful programming, network building, volunteerism, mentorship, and other opportunities that engender a sense of community for women on Capitol Hill.

Membership

WCSA is run by and for women Congressional staffers. There are currently more than 2,000 women in the WCSA network, ranging from interns to Chiefs of Staff in district, state, and D.C. offices.
